When the national railway companies from Belgium and the Netherlands in 2003 decided to start a joint venture to combine and integrate their strengths to make booking and traveling easier, benerail was born. Going outside comfort zones is the core of collaborating on mutual terms; for the benefit of travelers in Europe that embark on a cross country journey with a single ticket.

Now, nearly two decades later, benerail is ready to connect all European destinations with the ambition to deliver climate-neutral travel within 800 km.
